Upcoming Class
I have been working on classes for the store. Here is the latest one. It is a sneak peak of the flower power class. Those of ya'll that take my class we are going to have fun playing with stickles. This flower power class is scheduled for March. The flower power classes for Jan and Feb are up at the store. I will see you soon.
Good mail day
A great mail day. I received a package from Vicki Chrisman. It was loaded with paper and vintage pictures. I also received one of her lovely charms she made. I absolutely love everything. You are the best.
My pay it forward winners, I am working on your goodies. Gina, I will see you Sunday so I will bring it with me. I am almost finished shopping for Christmas. I have 2 more people to buy for and the wrapping begins. The kids are getting so excited. They have a couple of presents under the tree. Hope everyone is almost done shopping and wrapping.

Santa is here
We went and took pictures with santa at Bass Pro Shop this year. They had an awesome display with sant and his reindeers. You can't see the reindeers in the picture but just trust me it was awesome. I took so many pictures here I can't wait to scrapbook them. Look out for your christmas cards, I mailed some and put this picture in them.
Pay it Forward
Is everyone ready for Christmas? Is everything bought and wrapped? Not I. I had to go back to the store and rebuy some gifts. I have lost a few things here at the house that I bought the kids and it is driving me crazy as to where I put them. I had to go buy them again just incase I couldn't find them because the kids asked Santa for them. Anyways,
while I was checking Vicki's Amazing Art that Makes Me Happy Art at her blog This Art That Makes Me Happy, I saw her Pay it Forward Post and decided to join.
*** I will send a handmade gift to the first 3 people who leave a comment on my blog requesting to join this PIF (Pay it forward) exchange. I'm not sure what that gift will be. It will be a surprise! The only thing you have to do in return is to pay it forward by making the same promise on your blog. So basically, if you’re one of the first 3 comments, I’ll send you something crafty that I’ll make! Once you sign up, I'll email you to let you know that you are one of the three. Then copy and paste this paragraph on your blog, and three other lucky people will be recipients of your handmade work. Pay it Forward!***
It doesn't have to be anything time-consuming or complicated ... it's just a little "spirit of giving" thing. Since it's a busy time of year, you could even wait until January to pay it forward if that works better for your schedule (spread out the love so to speak). Just comment below if you want to join in the fun & I'll e-mail you for your address if you're one of the first three. I haven't decided what I'm going to make yet, or when it will be done, so it will have to be a surprise.
I am working at the retreat at the store this weekend and we received in the new Daisy D line. It is the vintage Valentine line and I think I will be making something with it. That is just a little hint. Have a good day and happy shopping!

Joshua lost his 1st tooth
Joshua lost his first tooth. He wanted to know if he lost 2 teeth because the hole was so big. OOps I posted the picture side ways. He was afraid to loose his tooth. He didn't want to pull it out. It got stuck in his corndog at school. Now that he has lost his first tooth and he saw what he gets for losing a tooth he may start pulling all his teeth out.
Classes in the next week or so
Here are a few pictures of the classes that I will be teaching in the next few weeks. There are more classes but haven't taken pictures of them yet. The first one is a hide and seek book from piggy tales. This is the cover of the book and the first page. There are 5 of us instructors teaching this kind of class to show the customers each one started out the same but turned out quite different. I went first.
The santa tray was fun to make. I like the way it turned out. This one is also a sold out class. I will be teaching this next week.
THe santa paint can I made last year and will be teaching it again this year. I had about 45 people last year for this class.
The christmas folder class was another sold out class. Michelle and Mimi went to creative escape in AZ and loved this book so I changed it up a bit and taught it last week. Everyone loved it. I have an ornament class to teach tonight and I will be teaching a gingerbread house on Sunday. It is actually a house and it even lights up. I have been busy these last couple of weeks. Off to making things for January and February classes. Wish me luck.

Happy Halloween
Here are my gouls and gobblins. What do you think? Ofcourse Jamie the princess always has to dress as a princess of some sorts. Isn't she cute. Joshua is Jack Sparrow. He loved his costume. They were both able to wear them to school. They had their use out of them today wearing them all day. They recieved lots and lots of candy. Everyone seemed to love both of their costumes. Hope everyone had a good Happy Halloween. Don't eat too much candy.

Field Trip to the Brackenridge Pumpkin Patch
Here are a few pictures of Joshua at the pumpkin patch today. His 1st grade class had a field trip and had lots of fun. They were able to pick out a pumpkin and paint it, ride a hay ride, potatoe sack races, and story time. It was a very long field trip. They even were able to eat lunch there. I am tired and ready for a nap.

The Pumpkin Patch
We went to Brackenridge on Sunday to the pumpkin patch. Jamie needed a pumpkin to take to school for a school project so we took a trip out there. It was hot that day and a day later we are in the 50's. Janelle didn't want her picture taken with the pumpkins so Jamie and Joshua were in all of them. The kids can't wait to carve their pumpkin and roast pumpkin seeds.

My glimmer mist layout
Here is a layout I did for the store using the graphite glimmer mist from tattered angels. I used a piece of white cardstock and layed a piece of spiderweb lace down and sprayed graphite glimmer mist on it and lifted it up. The tag was done the same way.

Glimmer Mist
Glimmer Mist love, love, love this stuff. As you can tell I couldn't just buy one bottle. I need more. I am up to 18 colors thanks to Vicki getting me hooked to them. I am misting everything now. I just finished the Heidi Swapp canvas from Creative Escape that Michelle and Mimi brought back for me. Love it. I will upload a picture soon. Thank you to Kristi from tattered angels for giving me information on the glimmer mist. Our first order of it we ordered 108 bottles and in 2 hours I had only 24 bottles left. I think I have everyone hooked on them also. We ended the weekend with having only 6 bottles left. I just placed another order for more colors. Wait and see what we come up with using this wonderful stuff.

A day in Fredricksburg
We spent the day in Fredricksburg for my birthday. I found this old Kodack camera at one of the antique stores there I had to buy for my new room.
I got this new TV for my birthday. I put it in my new room so now I can watch tv in there and scrap. The only thing I am missing is a bed. LOL Now I need to get busy and start working on something now that I have a room.
More pictures of the new addition
Here are more pictures of our new addition. These two are of the inside of the closet. Not organized yet but will be working on it soon.
Here are some pictures of the outside porch. The door you see in the picture goes to the scraproom from the outside. Now I have my room and Joey has his second home. They both aren't finished but at least we can use them the way they are. One of these days they will be complete.
