I have been working on my layout for my Flower Power class for April. I know, we are still in January but we need to be at least two months ahead of time for the calender at the store. This is a sneak peak. I know Paula this is not the sketch we thought of doing. I didn't like the paper with that sketch. I came up with this one. It wasn't what I had planned on doing but it works. I like all the bright colors and the bling on the layout. I am loving these stardust pens to outline with and it gives just a little shimmer. WHat do you think?
I am getting ready for my class next weekend. The hide and seek book that all of us instructors were teaching. I think it was a good idea. There are several instructors that start out with the same plain book and make it totally different and our style. It gives the customers a variety to choose from. Tami's book was taught last weekend and was sold out. You can see it here http://tamisanders.com/ You can see hers on her date Jan. 9. My class is on Jan. 27 and it is already full. I am still taking names on a wait list. I have 8 on the wait list but don't let that scare you off. I might teach that class again for those on the wait list maybe with different paper and embellishments. Here are a few pix of my book

Dimitra is doing one that is soooo cute. Bright pink, blue, and green paper. Her's is like a story book. She has only a few spaces left. Gaelynn is also doing one. Her's is like Heidi meets Tim. It has alcohol ink, ink, masks etc. She still has room. I believe Jeanette is making one that will be taught in March and will either be a baby/toddler book or a sports theme one.

I am almost done with my soldier class project. Soldiering is fun
for some and irritating to others. I have fun and hope you do. I figured we would soldier on a domino for one and soldier on a piece of glass that is 1 1/2 X 1 1/2 and you can put a picture of your little one in it. I also used the wavy foil tape on mine. You wouldn't have to. I will give you a sneak peak soon.

I am going to Nashvill in April. It is far away but will be here soon enough. Brenda, Gina, Michelle, Mimi, Cindy, Paula and myself are going to Scrap Etc 08. It is going to be so much fun. Can't wait. I need to get busy working on my homework for it. Yes, I have homework. It is fun homework. I best go for now.

Pinecone Press Kit

Here is what I made with the pinecone press book club kit that we have at Scrapbook 911. I decided not to do a 2 page layout with the paper but instead make a valentine box. I purchased the heart box at HL. The paper in the kit for this month was Marah Johnson. I used crackle paint, glimmer mist, crafty secrets vintage stickers, etc. I was pleased with the way it turned out.

I have been busy getting ready for my flower power class on Sunday and the hide and seek book on the 27th. In Feb. I have several classes and in March I will be teaching a soldering class. I had fun playing with the solder. I will post pictures of what I made soon.

Mini album for a customer

Tell me what you think. I had a customer ask me to make a kit for a 8 yr. old girls birthday party she was having. She wanted the girls to make a mini album to put their friends pictures in. It is a little simple. I was thinking that this would be easy enought for an 8 yr old to do and also so she would not get bord.

Here is the 1st and 2nd pages. The first page is not that pink.
For some reason it didn't take the true color.

Here is the 3rd and 4th pages.

Here is the 5th and 6th pages.

Here is the 7th and 8th pages. There are two more pages and the back cover but can't seem to get the pictures on here. So what do you think?????
