Vicki Chrisman's Card Challenge

I had the opportunity to participate in Vicki's Card Challenge this time around. She put this beautiful basket of goodies together and each participant received one of the packages in the basket. We were to make a card, altered item, or a layout with what was in our goodie bag. The images in the bag came from www.craftysecrets.com.

Here is what I made from the goodie bag. What do you think? I love the little vintage boy and dog. I used some glimmer mist on it to give it a leather look.

Starting July 7th or so Vicki is going to show all the cards that were made with the bags that were in the basket. You can see them on her blog at:

She has some awesome work on her blog. She is on quite a few design teams. I am hoping to meet her at CHA this summer when we go to Chicago.

Enchanted Rock

Oh my gosh it was hot. We went to Fredricksburg for the weekend just to get away from SA. A friend of mine had told me she went to Enchanted Rock and thought it was pretty. We decided to venture out. We wanted to get to the top of this huge rock. Well we got about half way up and I thought I was going to die. It was soooooo hooooootttt. It was very pretty. Going up was easy but coming down I thought I was going to have to roll down. That would have hurt. I made it down but after I stopped every few feet down.

Chef Joshua

Joshua's 1st grade class had a reading resturant yesterday. They were soooo cute. He said,"Hello, my name is Chef Joshua and I will be your server." "Let me take you to your table."

He sat me at my table and gave me a menu. On the menu was a list of books. I picked what food I wanted and he read the books to me. He was great.

Isn't he the cutest little waiter?!!!

Here is Chef Joshua and his teacher Mrs. Harrison. He has only 3 more days of school and will be a 2nd grader. What a big boy.

Baby Ashton

Here is Baby Ashton. Some of you know the story about the twins so I wanted to post a picture. Isn't he the cutest!!!

Here is Jamie and Ashton. Joshua, Jamie and Janelle wanted to take him home with us. He looks like my brother more and more each day.
He is now 6 months old. How time flies. We are hoping that Bradley will be home in about a month.

Happy Mothers Day

Guess what???? Guess what I got for mother's day??? I got my dream car. A MUSTANG. I love it. The only thing I don't like are monthly payments. We were needing to get a new veichle for a while because my van keeps breaking down so why not get my mustang, right!!!! Happy Mother's Day to everyone.
